He gives guest lectures at different universities. Finance: Exceptionally well off. History: Edmund was born in England. He grew up in the lake district and was fairly well isolated by his mother and grandmother. In short pants and jackets. His father spent most of his time away. Away from Edmund's mother, in no small part. She raised Edmund like it was a century and a half past. Ascots and croquet. He read, he didn't watch TV. He had a tutor. When Edmund was 8 though, his father died, and when he was 10 his mother remarried. They left some of their isolation and his mother became a social butterfly. Edmund's stepfather sent him to boarding school in Scotland at 12. Which is where he met Henry. Henry was a year older than him. Henry was a gentleman and that was weirdly important to Edmund. They were best friends, and by the time they were sixteen and seventeen, they were lovers. He had a hard time with that for a little while, then he started reading Wilde. It helped. He went to university a year behind Henry; the year they were seperated was the last. At 21, Edmund inherited his father's money. His father had been a sucessful barrister and had invested. In Intel. In 1971. Henry went into studying biology, Edmund, naturally, studied history, with a minor in psychology. He got his doctorate and wrote a lot of papers about shifting moral climate in relation to events in the late 19th, early 20th century. He could write from anywhere and travel to guest lecture, so when Henry got offered an incredible job at a think tank in Colorado when Edmund was 28, it wasn't even a question if Edmund would come along; well. More if Henry would take it. Edmund going wherever Henry chose was a given. Their relationship had been 24/7 D/s from the time Edmund was 19. They joined the company when Edmund was 29 and they'd been in Boulder a year. Henry developed heart disease four years later at the age of 34. He deteriorated quickly after diagnosis- it had been an issue for years and he hadn't known. He was on the transplant list when he died December 15, 2003. Edmund was a wreck. He cremated Henry and went home to spread his ashes. It's been five years. He started lecturing and publishing again last year. He came back to his and Henry's (unsold, unoccupied, dust covered by a cleaning service) house. Appearance In Brief: Edmund dresses like he stepped out of a Jane Austen novel. Neckerchiefs, waist coats, flowery shirts, vests, trousers, knee high boots. It's so unaffected though, that it's not. Recognizable? He's not dressed in costume, he obviously doesn't feel he's dressed oddly, and doesn't feel anyone else is either. His hair is usually neatly trimmed, a little on the long side. He has huge brown eyes, a large roman nose, and a shy smile. He has a circular brand in the shape of a rose with an H over the stem on his left hip. Checklist: Link Here.
